This techniques includes whole genome amplification for single blastomer using multiple displacement amplification (MDA), Polymerase chain reaction (PCR), PCR product detection using gel electrophoresis, genomic sequencing (cycle sequencing), PCR product purification, and sequencing analysis through an automated DNA sequencer. This work is combined with linkage analysis using short tandem repeat analysis (linked STRs markers) to exclude extraneous DNA contamination and as a back up strategy for diagnosis. STRs analysis includes: PCR amplification for various loci with dye labeled primers with different flurochromes, fragment analysis using automated fragment analysis. Charges are for each embryo (750 SR/embryo) and the minimum charge for each patient is 1500 SR.
